THE BURDEN OF WISDOM

The role of wisdom in ensuring a productive life for either an individual or organization cannot be over emphasized. This is due to the numerous sterling qualities that wisdom introduces into the life of any individual. As such Wisdom is one of the most sought after qualities by individuals or organizations. The bible also supports this quest for Wisdom by saying “WISDOM IS ‘THE PRINCIPAL THING: Ironically wisdom appears to be as elusive as it is important for productive living. I believe this is largely because people in search of Wisdom largely do not understand what they are looking for. WHAT THEN IS WISDOM: The book of proverbs clearly tells us that Wisdom is a person. This implies that to possess Wisdom, one has to court him. The word “court” here is used to mean that one has to create an environment in your spirit that Wisdom can dwell in. To court wisdom successfully, one needs to understand the nature of wisdom so you can adequately prepare yourself for this great guest. At this juncture, it is important to say that Wisdom is prepared to dwell with you permanently if he is comfortable in you. When wisdom is in operation, there is creativity, innovation, easy problem solving etc. However, Wisdom seeks to confer a burden on his host. This desire of Wisdom is so important that Wisdom dwells with a person/organization to the extent to which they are ready/able bear his burden. Wisdom eludes many because they either are not aware of its burden or are not prepared to bear it. So I don’t loose your attention, I would go ahead to state that the burden of this great guest is RESPONSIBILITY. The word responsibility implies that it is your duty to bring about a certain outcome. This tells us that you would receive a reward it that outcome is actualized and a punishment it is not achieved. This thought hit me like a thunder bolt. “The more Wisdom you acquire in a certain area of life, the greater your responsibility becomes to inspire, actualize positive changes in that area” Meditating further I realized that the foundation of all development across human history based on the acceptance of this truth. King Solomon understood this when he asked God for Wisdom, Knowledge and understanding. Plato understood it when he opined that “It the wise refuse to rule (accept this responsibility), then they risk the ruler ship of fools. To underscore the kind of disaster it is when fools are in position of authority, the bible says “woe unto the city whose king is a child". Interestingly, this responsibility is not limited to people in position of authority. Anyone with Wisdom in a certain area can contribute to positive outcomes in that area. Leaders with Wisdom go all out to seek the Wisdom embedded in their followers because they know that no man has the monopoly of Wisdom and two good heads are better them one. Followers who understand and accept this responsibility are actively involved in the actualization of team’s vision. They do no not need to be cajoled, induced and/or forced to contribute their quota. In this situation, things move on smoothly and the team vision is actualized effortlessly. I believe that the above paragraph totally explains the reason Nigeria is in the comatose state that she is as a nation. The people endowed with the necessary wisdom to effect national development have abandoned the responsibility to do so. The result is that our nation is struggling with basic things after more than 50years of independence. Power now rests with people who are either not interested in national development or lack the capacity to effect change. This class of people over the years has ground Nigeria to a halt. Worse still, the people who are blessed with wisdom required how torn around to blame the leadership solely to the problems facing our great nation. We forget that this country is our country as such we have a duty to contribute towards its development. It’s our sole responsibility. Moreover the kind of country we pass on to the next generation is largely dependent on whether or not we accept responsibility for its revitalization. In conclusion, I want to ask in what area are you blessed with wisdom. What is that thing that you can do much easily then others? And lastly what one thing can you do to improve yourself, your organization and your nation. You need to answer this question and accept responsibility for that action if you are to live a productive and fulfilling life. YOU WOULD BE REMEMBERED FOR WHAT YOU DID NOT FOR WHAT YOU COULD DO.

MY VIEW ON THE MUSIC ISSUE

The invitation of a highly skilled secular singer to church to sing sparked of a highly volatile debate. Normally I don’t partake in debates like this but I feel a great burden in my spirit to contribute my humble opinion. I am a child of God who is crazy in love with music and has the gift of song writing. Most of my friends and acquaintances are music people so I write this piece from a position of understanding. Please take your time to read this piece and allow the Holy Spirit minister to you. Having said that much, I believe this debate becomes necessary because the fine line differentiating gospel music from secular music is almost completely eroded. This I believe is as a result of laxity on the part of the body of Christ when secular music began its incursion into gospel music. The implication of this incursion is that power is gradually ebbing out of Gospel music. People now leave worship concerts excited, entertained rather than blessed. I believe an understanding of the major basic differences between secular and gospel would end this debate once and for all. It would also help to reposition gospel music as a tool in Gods hand to bless and transform his people. I present this piece with the hope that it would bless the body of Christ. I do not intend to win an argument or present myself as wise. Please read on  The best definition of the word secular is non-religious. This would imply that secular music is not intended for spiritual purposes. It is therefore safe to say that its focus is entertainment, enlightenment etc. A popular secular singer once said it does not have to make sense provided it entertains. On the other hand, the focus of gospel music is spiritual growth and transformation of the listener. From this I can say that the secular singer is focused on entertaining his/her audience while the gospel singer is focused on being a channel of spiritual blessing to the audience. Based on the above assertions, I can say that while the \secular singer is an artiste, the gospel singer is a minister.  Secondly while the secular singer uses his skills to keep people looking unto him for relaxation and entertainment, the gospel singer employs his skills to point his audience towards the one and only sovereign God in worship and adoration. For the secular singer, music is about him but for the gospel singer music is about God.  While the secular singer is reward (which may be money, fame, laurels etc) driven, the gospel singer is impact driven. The gospel singer does not think of reward because he knows that he is on God’s payroll for as long as he impacts his audience for God. The secular singer does not have a right to such expectations (God only pays the people working for him) so he attempts to make as much as possible with his own human effort.  If the focus of both forms of music is different, it follows that the persons venturing into either of the two forms of music would require different skill sets. While the aspiring secular singer can survive and even thrive with natural skills and mental abilities alone, the gospel singer knows that he cannot survive without a spiritual empowerment only the hand of God can provide. To prove this point I always ask this question; what was the thing that drove away the evil spirit tormenting King Saul as he listened to David play the harp. To return to the era when music casts out demons, heals the sick and /or raises the dead, we need to seek divine empowerment.  To receive and maintain the spiritual empowerment required for outstanding success, a gospel singer knows that he needs to maintain a lifestyle of total dependence on God. He must live in accordance with the ordinances of God and maintain a life of communion and intimacy with God. The secular singer on the other hand may survive and even excel without a sustained relationship with God. This is evident in the lifestyle of some of the most prominent secular singers. I believe this point is solely responsible for music becoming a veritable tool in the hand of the devil to capture the heart of numerous listeners. The lewdness of the lyrics of songs these days and the sexually explicit nature of music videos is the major reason sexual immorality is rampant these. At this juncture, I must admit that it is true that not all secular singers live outside the ordinance of God but secular singers rarely fulfill the biblical requirements of ministers. I must also add that I believe God still calls some people to dedicate their musical dexterity to him alone. These people are specially commissioned and equipped for their assignment. That is what Rev. Kenneth Hagin calls the spirit upon. I read in a piece that since we are all priests and kings, anyone can be a gospel singer provided the person is born again. That’s like saying anyone can pastor a church and God does not call people to ministry anymore. If you are not commissioned by God for a particular purpose, do you have a right to expect God to make provision available to you for that purpose? Finally imagine with me how complicated and confusing it would be secular singers operate as gospel singers at will and return to their secular music. Singers who are focused on entertainment from Monday to Saturday would be expected to turn around to focus on being a channel of spiritual blessing on Sunday. People who sing indecent lyrics and dance with semi -nude women all week would be the ones to lift up ‘Holy Hands’ to lead us to God’s ‘presence’ on Sunday. We would then turn round and expect that God to inhabit such worship and show us his mighty power. In conclusion God is a spirit therefore they that worship him must do so in spirit and truth. Whatever conclusion you arrive at I want you to know that the standard of the Lord remains sure regardless of human manipulations. MAY GOD BLESS HIS CHURCH, KEEP US AND MAKE US READY FOR HIS COMING. DAPOSODE.

NO TO INCISIVE POLITICS

Many of my friends are ardent protagonists of the need for the elite to become more actively involve in the political scene of our dear country. However the more i think about it, the more in love i am with my non partisan/political stance. It gives me the opportunity to supports some happenings and condemn others without being impartial or biased. Today am seriously condemning the incisive statements that have become popular with some high powered political juggernauts from whom one would except more decency and discretion. Recently there was an election in my state and one of the major contenders on speaking with his supporters told the to get their charms and amulets ready to wage war on any person trying to steal his mandate. While this sounds like a noble statement, it becomes worrisome when you interpolate it with the current realities of our political system. Where when any party losses, it must be due to improper actions and cheating on the part of the opposition parties and/or INEC. People them take to the streets with charms and amulets if they loose based on the statements made by their leaders. I am aghast that some Party leaders at the national level also echo the same sentiments which i think is harmful for our democracy. Also people who make such derogatory statements put themselves at risk. This is because dangerous and greedy elements in the nation can sieze the opportunity of these 'harmless statements' to wreck havoc in the nation knowing fully well that other people would be blamed. A good example is seen in the accusation of certain political giants as being the brain behind the insurgency in the North because of some harmful statements credited to them. While those statements in themselves is not proof of their involvement, it is enough reason to look in their direction. In conclusion, i believe true democratic success is when there can be political transition without mayhem whatsoever. Therefore people ho sabotage the success of our nascent democracy either in their words or actions should be treated as treasonable felons. Then we can move towards a fruitful democracy without inhibition. Share this piece with as many people as possible. In the end, we would create enough awareness to stop this people who speak in their own interests alone Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

ALWAYS MAKE MONEY

YOUR OWN MONEY TREE
It was after the infamous fall of the Nigerian stock market that I started being painfully aware of the trend in the Nigerian wealth creation market. It starts when a wealth creation opportunity gains popularity due to its potency. People get into a blind rush to pump money into the opportunity expecting to rake in mega profits. What happens on the long run is that most of the people lose their money in the process. Then the grumbling and blame passing process begins. You are in trouble if you are among the people who popularized the opportunity. Being someone who is passionate about sharing wealth creation opportunities, I launched into an extensive research into what increases an individual’s chances of profiting from any opportunity. It is my pleasure to present to you the simple nuggets I discovered to help you greatly reduce the percentage of your funds you lose to bad investments. I urge you to consider them when next you plan to put down your money and check whether they would make a difference.
WEALTH CREATION OPPORTUNITIES ARE TAILOR MADE.
Imagine Michael Jackson as a boxer and Mohammed Ali as a singer. That you are laughing clearly shows there are specific personality and intellectual capacity requirements for each wealth creation opportunity. Failure to put this into consideration has exposed many people’s pocket to devourers. To succeed with any wealth creation opportunity, you need to possess the required personality and intellectual capability. Forex trading for example entails significant levels of risk therefore risk averters who trade forex do so at their own peril. To avoid this pitfall you therefore have to know your personality and intellectual capability. Do a sincere self analysis to determine your strengths and weakness. It also helps to cross check what you have written down with what your closest associates think are your strengths. Before going into a wealth creation opportunity, find out the personality and intellectual requirements and check to see if you possess them. Going into businesses you are mentally and emotionally equipped for has been shown to greatly increase ones chances of success.
APPLIED KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
What you do not know about the opportunity you are about to invest in would stop you from smiling to the bank with profit. Apart from increasing your chances of profit, knowledge also prevents you from being scammed. People miss it here when they invest without knowledge or worse still, they give their money to people with knowledge to oversee their investment. These people go ahead to heavily defraud them. Though it is impossible to know everything, you should know enough to protect your investment. During the boom of the Nigerian stock market, I was shocked to find people buying shares without being able to explain their decisions. Worse still, the take investment advice from people with little or no knowledge of the stock market. It was like taking flight lessons from a music instructor. In conclusion, CHECK,RE-CHECK, CROSS SHECK AND CHECK AGAIN before you put down your money.
START SMALL
Nothing protects your money like starting small and gradually growing your investment portfolio. Most people get scammed due to their drive to become overnight millionaires. Besides preventing you from getting scammed, starting small gives you control over the level of risk you are taking with your investments. You do not want to spend your profits on drugs for treating hypertension. Starting small also reduces your desperation so you can invest with a clear head. Desperation jams your mental frequency and can leave you broke faster than you think.
DRAW UP AN INVESTMENT PLAN
Starting small is good but you also need an investment plan to ensure you get as much value as possible for your investment. Without it, you would be like a traveler trying to navigate the streets of Lagos with the map of Port Harcourt. However, in drawing your investment plan, the first thing you need is a specific financial target. Exactly how much do you want to make form this investment. This gives you a sense of destination and helps focus your total energy towards achieving it. You also have to determine the period during which you want to make the profit. This would inform the things you need to do to reach your goal. Your plan must also be such that you can measure your progress. This would show whether you need to speed up or slow down your drive. It should also be consistent and realistic so you would not end up frustrated go about discouraging other potential investors. Endeavour to write down your plan and review it from time to time to see if you are still on track.
DON’T STOP TILL YOU GET THERE
Having done all the things written above, it would be such a shame if you do not follow through with the plan. Surprisingly, this is exactly what people do for various reasons ranging from unforeseen problems to profit being lower than expected amount. Interestingly when some people make more money from an investment, they abandon their investment plan and eventually kill the hen that lays the golden egg. If you do not want to tell unpleasant stories, do everything within your power to make you execute your plan to the letter. LET NOTHING COME BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR FINANCIAL DESTINATION.
In conclusion, majority of the people who complain of loss simply did not do the things they should. I am sure your capital is very important to you therefore you would put these things to test. I would like to learn of your financial progress and answer further questions. Search for Emergence on facebook or send an e-mail to emergence_2010 @yahoo.com. You can also call 08030633106 or 08076119971. KEEP ON MAKING MONEY TILL YOU HAVE TOO MUCH MONEY. EVEN THEN DON’T STOP.

THE SPIRIT OF NAIJA

In the heart of the west coast of Africa lies a very unique and exciting group of people. Each time they step out in action, they wave their magic wand and shock the world. From soccer to banking, information technology to literature, arts to music and in every other thing that catches their fancy they are a force to reckon with. More intriguing is the fact that they achieve this feat despite tough conditions. They are the largest population of black people in the world. They are called NIGERIANS.
What makes Nigerians thick? This question is easily answered when one takes a look at the chord that binds them together (NIGERIA). Naija in local parlance is a land blessed with every good thing a man can think of. The extra spice that makes Nigeria a delicious pot of soup to foreigners is the “THE SPIRIT OF NAIJA.” This refers to the set of values that shapes the belief system of the average Nigerian. This in turn determines our reaction to situations that come our way either individually or as a nation.
Firstly, the average Nigerian is a highly motivated individual. We belief that with patience, hard work, dedication and God on your side every individual is able to succeed in his/her chosen endeavour. As such, we are always ready to put in whatever it takes to achieve our goals. We also believe the future is bright despite our present condition. This hope greatly increases our ability to endure hardship without taking our eyes off our aspirations. Our doggedness and never say die attitude has being a constant source of amazement to other nationalities. We succeed most of the times by refusing to give up on our dreams despite unpleasant occurrences. W know that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
In some circles, it is said that the litmus test of the strength of a nation’s economy is the number of Nigerians involved in the economic activities of the said nation. This is because we are highly industrious who can spot a good opportunity miles afar. When we do this, we are known to grab them with both hands and legs if possible. As a result, many developing countries freely grant Nigerians residence in their country with the assurance of our positive contribution to the development of their country. On their part, Nigerians never disappoint as we continually produce top leaders in every industry. (Nollywood is proof that the world should pay attention when we show interest in anything). When we rise, YOU IGNORE US AT YOUR OWN PERIL.
As a people we are warm, friendly and welcoming. We love life and do our best to live it in full. This increases our ability to be happy despite great tribulations. We are so happy a people that we have been adjudged the happiest people on earth. Therefore, suicide is almost non- existent in our communities. Moreover, you cannot degenerate to the state where you want to take your life before someone reaches out to help. Many time people wonder why we have not broken up as a nation despite numerous leadership challenges. My answer is that the spirit of Naija does not resort to chaos as a means of dispute resolution.
Speaking of challenges, we are besieged with them in large numbers. For instance the success drive in Nigerians has pushed some of our young ones into drugs, cyber crime, robbery and other vices. Though we are sometimes at a crossroads, I believe that the elements of the spirit of Naija is powerful enough to lead us into lasting solutions. The way forward is to continually project the values of the Nigerian spirit. We should also endeavour to act in accordance with those values always and honour Nigerians that excel using the values of the Nigerian spirit.
In conclusion, our pride and joy lies in the indomitable spirit of Naija. Let us rise in this spirit and reclaim our lost title of “THE GIANT OF AFRICA”
LONG LIVE THE FEDRAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.

MONEY

Many act like they do not care about it yet inwardly crave everything it can provide. Though this is not a bad idea, it does not show them how to achieve their desires. I took time to inquire of the masters how to acquire lots of it. It is my pleasure to share with you what I was taught. The difference between the rich and the poor is not ability neither is it only character. I know this because there are many men of character and ability who are extremely poor. The difference lies in how each person sees money. This affects how he relates with it and ultimately how much of it he can attract. To the rich man MONEY IS A SEED, a means to an end rather than an end in itself. To further explain, I will use the steps from planting a seed to harvesting.
Having decided which crop to plant, a farmer know firsthand that you will definitely consume the seed you do not plant. So he reserves seed from the last harvest for the next planting season. Likewise a potential rich man puts away some of his money to produce more money for him.(SAVINGS).
He also knows that there can be no harvest without seeds so he protects his seed till the day of planting. Likewise rich men do not spend their savings for whatever reasons (DELAYED GRATIFICATION).Then comes the actual planting which is known as (INVESTMENT) to the rich man A farmer knows seeds flourish under certain exact conditions so he plants his seed in such an atmosphere. Likewise a rich man invests his money where he is sure of maximum profits. He ascertains the profitability of the venture before investing his money.
After planting, a farmer knows it takes time for a seed to grow into a matured plant. He also knows that for it to grow properly and yield maximum harvest, he has to carry out certain operations on the growing seed. Therefore, he does not abandon the seed before it matures into a plant. Rather, he gives everything it takes for it to grow. Likewise rich people never abandon their investment until it matures. They stay awake to protect and nurture their investment while it takes time to grow into a huge money spinner.
In addition, farmers are very optimistic people. I do not know of any farmer who will refuse to plant this year due to a bad yield last year. Rather they find out why there was a bad yield last year and make corrections to prevent it from occurring again. They may change seed type, planting field, fertilizer etc but they never stop planting. Likewise a rich man never stops investing because the yield was bad. They learn their lessons and invest once more. They do not stop until they have achieve desired results.
Come to think of it, making money is not as difficult as poor people think. Wherever you are, you can begin your journey to riches and get there if you follow through with the necessary steps. Whether you take the journey or not, you are solely responsible for your financial state.

exceptional personalities

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our world. Here, we are always seeking for better ways to achieve better results in every area of our lives. Hence, we do not believe in traditional way of doing things. We raise the standard each time we achieve something great which happens all the time. In our world achievement doubles frequently therefore members have to be on their toes to remain relevant. We reward hard work, dedication and determination. Laziness has no air to survive in our environment.
We are bold and fearless. We believe where there is a will there is a way. Therefore no mountain is too high for us to climb. This is because there is no room for limitation in our lives. To us, impossibility does not exist. We combine faith in God and ourselves with a dedication both unequalled and unparalleled. The day may be unpleasant and the night unbearable, still we press forward to achieve our aims and objectives. This is because we know firsthand that there is no pain without gain. The more difficult the problem, the greater the joy and glory of accomplishment. In our world, challenges and adversity separates the men from the boys without breaking a sweat.
There is more than enough space for a lot more people in our world. But we are very few who share the spoils of the battle we fight. Yet,95% of people take to their heels when we extend a hand of invitation to them. The five percent who join us enter the league of the unforgettable dragon slayers of life. They know the joy of achievement butt first have to pass through the test of many trials. We are seen as geniuses and demi-gods but in reality we are a group of ordinary men who take on extra-ordinary tasks. And we achieve extra-ordinary results where others would not even dare. Join us, secure your seat in destiny and the world would forever applaud you.

THE RIGHT TO BE RICH

. Whatever may be said in praise of poverty, the fact remains
that it is not possible to live a really complete or successful
life unless one is rich. No one can rise to his greatest
possible height in talent or soul development unless he has plenty
of money, for to unfold the soul and to develop talent he must
have many things to use, and he cannot have these things unless
he has money to buy them with.
A person develops in mind, soul, and body by making use of
things, and society is so organized that we must have money in
order to become the possessors of things. Therefore, the basis of
all advancement must be the science of getting rich.
The object of all life is development, and everything that lives
has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of
attaining.
A person’s right to life means his right to have the free and
unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his
fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other
words, his right to be rich.
In this book, I shall not speak of riches in a figurative way. To
be really rich does not mean to be satisfied or contented with a
little. No one ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of
using and enjoying more. The purpose of nature is the advancement
and unfoldment of life, and everyone should have all that
can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of
life. To be content with less is sinful.
The person who owns all he wants for the living of all the life
he is capable of living is rich, and no person who has not plenty
of money can have all he wants. Life has advanced so far and
become so complex that even the most ordinary man or woman
requires a great amount of wealth in order to live in a manner
that even approaches completeness. Every person naturally wants
to become all that they are capable of becoming. This desire to
realize innate possibilities is inherent in human nature; we cannot
help wanting to be all that we can be. Success in life is becoming
what you want to be. You can become what you want to. We live for the body,
we live for the mind, we live for the soul. No one of these is better or holier than the other .You can be what you want to be only by making use of things, and you can have the free use of things only as you become rich enough to buy them. To understand
the science of getting rich is therefore the most essential of
all knowledge.
There is nothing wrong in wanting to get rich. The desire for
riches is really the desire for a richer, fuller, and more abundant
life . and that desire is praiseworthy. The person who does not
desire to live more abundantly is abnormal, and so the person
who does not desire to have money enough to buy all he wants
is abnormal. There are three motives for which we live: We live for the body,
we live for the mind, we live for the soul. No one of these is
better or holier than the other; all are alike desirable, and no one
of the three . body, mind, or soul . can live fully if either of the
others is cut short of full life and expression. It is not right or
noble to live only for the soul and deny mind or body, and it is
wrong to live for the intellect and deny body or soul.
We are all acquainted with the loathsome consequences of living
for the body and denying both mind and soul, and we see
that real life means the complete expression of all that a person
can give forth through body, mind, and soul. Whatever he can
say, no one can be really happy or satisfied unless his body is
living fully in its every function, and unless the same is true of
his mind and his soul. Wherever there is unexpressed possibility
or function not performed, there is unsatisfied desire. Desire is
possibility seeking expression or function seeking performance.
A person cannot live fully in body without good food, comfortable
clothing, and warm shelter, and without freedom from
excessive toil. Rest and recreation are also necessary to his physical life.
One cannot live fully in mind without books and time to study
them, without opportunity for travel and observation, or without
intellectual companionship.
To live fully in mind a person must have intellectual recreations,
and must surround himself with all the objects of art and
beauty he is capable of using and appreciating.
To live fully in soul, a person must have love, and love is denied
fullest expression by poverty.
A person.s highest happiness is found in the bestowal of benefits
on those he loves; love finds its most natural and spontaneous
expression in giving. The individual who has nothing to give
cannot fill his place as a spouse or parent, as a citizen, or as a
human being. It is in the use of material things that a person.
finds full life for his body, develops his mind, and unfolds his
soul. It is therefore of supreme importance to each individual to
be rich.
It is perfectly right that you should desire to be rich. If you are
a normal man or woman you cannot help doing so. It is perfectly
right that you should give your best attention to the science of
getting rich, for it is the noblest and most necessary of all studies.
If you neglect this study, you are derelict in your duty to
yourself, to God and humanity, for you can render to God and
humanity no greater service than to make the most of yourself
